The Czech Republic lags behind Western countries in the recycling of aluminium drink cans. The recycling of packaging and the subsequent processing of used aluminium is very advantageous, both economically and for the environment as aluminium can be processed infinitely without the material losing its intrinsic qualities. That is why we strive to convince festival goers and the general public to recycle their cans. One method was the put a new design on collection bins.
Every Can Counts
Every Can Counts is an association founded to increase awareness about the advantages of recycling aluminium drink cans. The pan-European Every Can Counts has se the goal of recycling 100% of all cans because recycling aluminium saves 95% of energy needed to make a can from virgin aluminium and reduces the production of greenhouse gases.
